An einem Teiche
Schlich eine Schleiche,
Eine Blindschleiche sogar.
Da trieb ein Etwas ans Ufer im Wind.
Die Schleiche sah nicht, was es war,
Denn sie war blind.
Das dunkle Etwas aber war die Kindsleiche
Einer Blindschleiche.
